Given the growing share of horizontal drilling, we expect the amount of production drilling between 2013 and 2022 to grow from 19.7 million meters in 2012 to 20.14 million meters in 2022. The highest annual meters drilled may occur in 2017 or 2018. During those years Russian companies plan to begin  commercial development of large oil and oil-gas-condensate fields in YNAD, in the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskaya zone (Evenkia), in the Caspian Sea and Arctic Ocean offshore, as well as oil and gas fields on the Yamal Peninsula.
