On May 23, 2014, Nikolskaya Moscow Hotel was the venue of the 11th International Conference “Offshore Upstream Development in Russia and CIS – 2014”, a premier industry event focusing on a discussion of strategies for tapping petroleum reserves of the Russian continental shelf given the country’s current financial and economic landscape, and showcasing state-of-the-art offshore upstream technologies and case studies offering specific solutions.

The conference is traditionally supported by Gazprom.

The 2014 conference was attended by more than 80 leading Russian and foreign companies, with the total number of guests exceeding 120. Eighty-eight percent of the attendees were from Russia and the CIS, and 12% were from other countries (Finland, Switzerland, France, etc.). The 2014 conference welcomed delegates from Gazprom, LUKOIL, Gazprom Dobycha Shelf, Gazprom VNIIGAZ, Rosgeologiya, Nord Stream AG, Arctia Shipping, Technip, ChTPZ, National Energy Security Fund and many others, as well as government officials from the Archangelsk region, Nenets Autonomous District, RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, State Duma Committee for Natural Resources,   Environmental Management and Ecology and other government officials.

The conference organizer, RPI, extends it thanks to the sponsors of the event – Goltsblat BLP and MZTK - SVAP Consortium – for their support.

We invite industry players to get involved in assembling a 2015 Conference program.
